I have been involved with the bid writing and tender proposal process for over eleven years. I particularly enjoy the creative and strategic elements of creating compelling proposals.
I have developed a natural understanding of designing bespoke proposal solutions for both private and public sector organisations. I utilise my writing, design and marketing skills in order to deliver convincing and relevant bids. Each bid is a unique solution, addressing prospect requirements and needs.

B2B Sector Marketing
In 2003, I was fortunate enough to work for a multi-billion turnover, global B2B wholesaler. I was employed as an in-house graphic designer and was required to work extremely closely with the marketing team. The organisation was marketing orientated with clearly defined goals and objectives for ongoing and long term profitable growth.
Whilst working for the company, I attended a staff meeting whereby the Marketing Director announced the overall marketing strategy. He communicated corporate plans for targeting, segmentation, positioning as well as macro/micro influences, competitor activity, threats and opportunities. This was the pinnacle moment in my career when I decided that I wanted to become a marketer. I continued to work closely with the marketing department, learning as much as I possibly could about the profession whilst applying the concepts and processes within my traditional graphic design work.
My career ultimately presented marketing roles and opportunities within the B2B facilities management sector, where I remain active to this very day. I attended night class to obtain a Level 6 CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.
